The observatory itself is very informative, with a lot of interesting exhibits

#templestay once inside, we had an amazing time. We attended all the free talks and demonstrations, and we paid for two planetarium shows. The staff members were talented and knowledgeable, and I was happy to realize that more presentations were given by disabled staff members than not. There is a ton of hiking trails in the hills but we didn't get a chance to hike them. There are also the cool wings to get a good photo opportunity with the Hollywood sign in the back.
