Just an Hour's Drive from Hefei | A Private Bath Amidst Vast Lotus Ponds

On a whim, my friend and I decided to get away for a bit. Not wanting to travel too far due to work, we found a homestay near Hefei where we could relax and take beautiful photos. We chose the Lujiang Xidi Alanruo Homestay, just an hour's drive from Hefei—and it was absolutely stunning! The entire village was filled with lotus flowers. Unfortunately, we arrived a bit early, and the lotuses hadn't fully bloomed yet. This homestay offers an all-inclusive getaway with everything you need for dining, entertainment, and relaxation. Upon arrival, we picked a scenic room and then headed to the tea room to enjoy some tea. You can choose your favorite tea leaves here, along with nuts and snacks. The tea area overlooks a charming embankment, and nearby, there are even little sheep and peacocks! The homestay also has a pool downstairs... though I don’t swim, it made for great photos. The whole afternoon was wonderfully leisurely. At 6 PM, we ordered a hot pot dinner. Sitting in the restaurant, enjoying the view outside while eating, our moods lifted instantly. After dinner, we returned to our room—each comes with a private bath. The homestay even provided rose petals to scatter in the tub. Soaking in the bath, listening to music, I felt completely at ease. Overall, this place is perfect for a short summer getaway, whether with friends or family. A delightful escape!
