Raya Heritage Chiang Mai This hotel was designed by the renowned Thai architect Boonlert Hemvijitraphan, founder of Boon Design in Bangkok. Specializing in Asian minimalist style, Boonlert has extensive experience in designing modern Asian villas. Raya Heritage marks his first foray into hotel design. For those familiar with or enchanted by Chiang Mai, it is often called the "Rose of the North." Nestled in the highland valleys of northern Thailand at an average elevation of 300 meters, Chiang Mai served as the capital of the ancient Lanna Kingdom (1296–1768) for nearly 500 years. Surrounded by lush mountains, cool climate, and dotted with historic temples, the city embodies the rich cultural heritage of northern Thailand. Inspired by the understated elegance of northern Thai aesthetics, the hotel embraces harmony between people and nature.
