Walking around Majjistral National Park 🇲🇹

Majjistral National Park is Malta’s first natural national park, located in the northwest of the island. The park was named after the Maltese word for northwest wind, “majjistral”. It was declared a national park by the Government of Malta in September 2007. The park extends from Golden Bay to Il-Prajjet and ix- Xagħra l-Ħamra, and includes coastal cliffs as well as a rich ecological, cultural, and rural heritage. The park is open 24/7, and visitors can enjoy free access on foot. The park is a perfect place for walking, especially during the cooler months between October and April. The park also offers educational talks and walks, snorkeling events, and more to encourage people to enjoy the outdoors fully and to learn about nature and the environment.
