South of France｜Menton • Day Trip 🍋

#summervacay Because I’m obsessed with everything nearby, on the second day in Antibes, I planned a day trip to the charming little town of Menton. Unfortunately, the weather in February wasn’t ideal — everything looked a bit grey and misty. I can imagine how stunning it must be in summer though! ☁️→☀️ I took some photos by the seaside 📸, checked out the Instagram-famous "Monument Valley" staircase (yes, that one!), and ended the day at a small hidden gem — the Jean Cocteau Museum by the sea (pics 5, 6, 7). Like many of France’s small art museums, it’s minimalist yet thoughtful, a perfect cultural touch to add to a travel day. 🎨✨ Menton is a border town — the next stop is Italy 🇮🇹 — so many of the local restaurants are run by Italians. For afternoon tea, I had a crêpe, and the lovely Italian owner wrote “Menton” in Nutella on it.
