National Museum of Anthropology

A museum in Mexico City. National Museum of Anthropology. This museum collects and exhibits archaeological and ethnic materials from Mesoamerica. The current museum building was built in Chapultepec Park by President Adolfo Lopez Mateos and opened on September 17, 1964. There are 22 permanent exhibition rooms, two special exhibition rooms, and three halls. The museum also houses the National Library of Anthropology and History. If you are in Mexico City, this is a must-see place. The museum is large and takes 3-4 hours to see everything.
