A Must-See Travel Guide for Flower Lovers: Milyang Wiyangji

📍 Milyang, Wiyangji (Wiyang Pond) The famous Erythrina trees of Wiyangji in Milyang, Gyeongsangnam-do are a sight to behold! Wiyangji is an artificial pond created during the Joseon Dynasty, surrounded by rows of Erythrina trees. In May, these trees bloom with pure white flowers that resemble snow. On windless days, the flowers reflect beautifully on the pond, creating an even more stunning view! (I visited last year during the day, and surprisingly, it wasn’t crowded. The pond is quite spacious, so taking photos was easy.) When the wind blows, the Erythrina petals fall, covering the pond in white—a breathtaking scene.
