Hydrangea Park

There are 84 species and approximately 28,000 hydrangeas planted in the park. The flowering period of hydrangeas is from June to July, which is also the rainy season in Japan. Going out to enjoy the hydrangeas during the rainy season has become the most beautiful scenery of this season. In addition, the predecessor of the park was built in the 14th century. Matsuo Castle, although the castle no longer exists, the castle tower has been recreated on the hill and is used as an observation deck.
