My Favorite North Kyushu City: Nagasaki! ❤️

#summervacay My 5-day North Kyushu trip left me with a clear favorite: Nagasaki! Mojiko came in second, while Beppu and Yufuin, honestly, were mostly just for the novelty of their "diet" products. Nagasaki is truly a special place. It's a city that carries profound history, yet it's also rich in culture and boasts beautiful scenery. The pedestrian streets near Meganebashi (Spectacles Bridge) were wonderfully uncrowded and offered great prices. I found a mochi shop there with an incredibly delicious strawberry daifuku for just ¥200 – it literally burst in my mouth! Glover Garden was also stunning, and the ¥600 entrance fee felt like a steal, especially with elevators making it easy to explore the expansive grounds. If I ever get another chance, I would absolutely love to spend three full days in Nagasaki!
