The weekend sunlight streamed through the curtains and onto my face, warm and cozy. Today is a good day. My wife and I decided to take our son, Xiaobao, to experience the Ascott Lakeside Nanjing. We rented a small boat and rowed on the lake. We also went to Xinmofan Road, where there are many authentic Nanjing snacks. Xiaobao praised the duck blood vermicelli soup and said that he would take it back for his friends to try.
