Osaka & Nara Travel Diary – A Perfect 1-Night, 2-Day Itinerary Combining Tradition and Modernity

🦌 Deer, Shopping, and a Journey Full of Japanese Charm Hello! This time, I’m sharing my travel experience in Kansai’s iconic cities, Osaka and Nara. These two cities, where tradition and modernity coexist, are perfect for a day trip or a 1-night, 2-day itinerary! 🦌 Day 1 – Nara Welcomes You with Deer and Temples 📍 [Nara Park & Todai-ji Temple] After arriving at the airport, take the JR or Kintetsu line to Nara! The first stop was Nara Park. Here, adorable deer roam freely, and you can feed them with deer crackers (shika senbei) 🦌. ✔️ Tip: Be cautious as the deer can be quite assertive! They might nibble on your bag or clothes 😅. Right next to the park is **Todai-ji Temple**, the world’s largest wooden structure, housing the impressive **Great Buddha (Daibutsu)**. The serene and tranquil atmosphere is truly healing! 🌆 Day 2 – Vibrant Osaka City Tour 📍 Dotonbori & Shinsaibashi When you think of Osaka, the Glico sign comes to mind! It’s even more stunning at night with all the neon lights ✨. Shinsaibashi is a shopping street offering everything from drugstores to luxury brands, making it a paradise for shopaholics. ✔️ Must-try foods: Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki, and crab dishes at Kani Doraku. 🛍️ Rinku Town Outlet (Last-Minute Shopping Before Departure!) Located right next to Kansai Airport, Rinku Premium Outlet is a must-visit! With a wide range of brands and reasonable prices, it’s perfect for some final shopping before heading to the airport. Shopping until the last moment is the best 👍.
