Western Australia Road Trip: Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse! 🐳

#summervacay We arrived here about 30 minutes after leaving Canal Rocks and spent a good 1 hour and 30 minutes exploring the lighthouse area and the whale watching route. After parking, there are two paths: one to the right and one to the left. The path to the right leads to the lighthouse entrance, and you need to pay to go inside. The path to the left is a walking track and lookout point. We didn't read the signs carefully and trusted our navigation, thinking we could just loop around to the lighthouse. Turns out, you can't! However, by a happy accident, our navigation led us directly to the Whale Lookout. Even though it wasn't whale watching season, this vast expanse of deep blue ocean was incredibly therapeutic and beautiful! 💙 Just a heads up, this Whale Track takes about an hour round trip, so it's probably best to go only if it's actually whale season. 🐋 #westernaustralia #naturalistelighthouse #capenaturaliste #whalelookout
