Taipei 4 days 3 nights, non-stop travel, budget 12,000!

This trip, there were 3 of us * We split the cost of accommodation and some travel expenses * - On the first day, we arrived at Taoyuan Airport at 20.20 Taiwan time, took the MRT to Taipei, had a little something to eat, and then went straight to our accommodation. - On the second day, we woke up early and changed our accommodation because we discussed with our friends that it would be better to move. 😅 After we got our accommodation (stayed at Happiness Hotel MRT Songjiang Nanjing), we left our bags because check-in was at 15.00. So we went sightseeing first. The first place we went to was the Taipei Fish Market. The accommodation called a taxi for us. It was not far from the accommodation to the fish market, about 15 minutes. After walking around, it seemed like we would go too early, so we changed our destination to Keelung. We took the bus from the front of the fish market to Taipei Station and then took the train to Keelung. After sightseeing for a while, we looked for a cafe to sit at. We went to a cafe called Kiki's Cafe. It has 4 floors, is very cute, and has a good view. It is located opposite the colorful cafe building. After we had some snacks and drinks, Then take a taxi to Keelung Heping Island to see the view, which is very beautiful. The entrance fee is about 120 TWD per person. Then we wait for the bus to Keelung Railway Station. From here, we will go to Juifen (it is my favorite place because I am a Ghibli fan 🥰). We took the train from Keelung Station and changed lines at Badu. On the way to Juifen, we will stop by Houtong, the cat house, and go to see the old mine. We changed lines for 3 stations and we arrived. After walking for a while, we took the train back 1 station to Ruifang and then took the bus to Juifen. *The Xiao Long Bao shop at the entrance of Juifen Market is very delicious. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the shop 🥲 We walked around. There are many toy shops and cute souvenir shops. We walked to take pictures at Amei Tea House. It is very beautiful. It is like you have come out of Spirited Away. After taking enough pictures, we walked up to see the view. The last light with the ocean is really amazing. It is very memorable. After walking enough, we waited for the bus back to our accommodation. We got off at Ximen and walked around the night market for a while. Then go back to the room to rest. Today was really hard but so much fun. - On the third day, we will go hiking~ We woke up early and went to Yangmingshan National Park. After leaving the accommodation, we took the MRT and changed to the red line and got off at Jianyan Station, Exit 1. From this station, we walked to see a temple first. The temple we went to was the Confucius Temple. There was a sign that you can write blessings for free. You can choose the words yourself. Next to it, there was another temple with a koi pond. I can't remember the name of the temple. We walked around for a while and then came out. We walked back to take the bus at Jiantan Station, bus number 5 to Yangmingshan. Then we walked. The weather was great. We could walk continuously and it wasn't too tiring. But there was a path that was a tail that cut through the mountain. It’s up to us. We went to see the flower clock. Along the way, there were natural waterfalls and houses. It felt really good. We could walk to many more mountains, all of them were beautiful. But when we got to the flower clock, we got off and took a bus. We were going to the hot spring bathhouse in Beitou. We took the bus from the original stop where we got off. We could take no. 9 or 109 and got off at MRT Xinbeitou. I must say that the journey there was like survival. We were hanging on to the whole way, which was really tense. The driver was a pro. When we got off at the point where we got off, we walked about 500 meters, but it was a hill, and we would reach the bathhouse. There is no entrance fee. There are activities to do at every point. The mood and colors are really good. It’s an old bathhouse. I like the feeling inside in a way that I can’t describe. There are exhibits of tools that people used to use, such as milk bottles that used to be sold. After we were satisfied with our visit, we would continue to visit the red MRT line. We took the bus from Xinbeitou and changed lines at Beitou. We would go to Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. Get off at the station with the same name. There is a branch of the world’s first milk tea shop here. It is under gate 2 theater. Chiang Kai-shek is a very big place. Like very big. It is very beautiful. Must check in. We walked to buy milk tea and then continued. We went to eat Xiao Long Bao. The shop is located at MRT Dongmen exit 5. It took about 10 minutes to walk to the shop. (I secretly like the shop in Juifen more.) Then we will go up the 2nd mountain of the day to see the view of Taipei 101 from up there. Take the MRT to Xiangshan Station and walk up the mountain. The stairs are not very wide, so you have to observe carefully. But there are a lot of people traveling with us. We went at 19.00. There were lights all the way up and there were a lot of people. And the mountain we went to is Xiangshan Elephant Mountain. When we started, our legs were tired. Just 200 meters and we were out of breath. Normally, we don’t exercise like running or walking like this because it is very tiring. Our goal is 500 meters. The top is 1,700+ meters. We only went up 500 meters to the first viewing point. The view of Taipei 101 from that point is very beautiful. It is worth the exhaustion. After we were satisfied, we went down the hill to Ximenting to buy some souvenirs. We were tired from hiking and hungry, right? So we went to Ningxia Night Market to eat stewed pork buns and oyster pancakes, similar to oyster omelet. We weren't sure what they were called. We also tried stinky tofu, but it didn't look like what we thought it would be. Then we went back to the room to rest. The day ended with us praising each other for being so good. - Day 4 (last day, return flight at 9:00 PM) We woke up a bit late because we had a lot of fun on the 2nd and 3rd days. On the last day, we only planned to go to Longshan Temple to pray for the red string and buy amulets as souvenirs to bring back to Thailand. After that, we went to Seven Eleven Conan because my friend likes Conan. It's near Taipei Main Station. We had lunch and snacks here because we had money left on our EasyCard and had to use it up. Then we went to get our bags that we had left at the lockers in Taipei Main Station (there are many lockers, you can walk around and choose). We waited to take the MRT Taoyuan Airport to the airport. After checking in and loading our bags, We went to buy souvenirs, went through immigration, and waited to board the plane back to Thailand. We arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 00.10. The plane was slightly delayed. The trip is over. 🎉🎉 We spent 3,000 THB: 5,700 THB for the plane ticket and 3,300 THB for accommodation (divided by 3 friends). The total cost was around 12,000 THB. We calculated it just in case. #tripfreeaccommodation #traveltaiwan
