A great meeting place where you’ll often find people playing music, waiting for friends and hanging out. The brilliant thing about the monument is you can climb up inside and see the incredible views at the top. Very central and I really like the way they dug the street under the monument itself, hopefully, without damaging it's foundations. Ticket machines everywhere, staff on-site and some coffee shops/ takeaway food, for the exploring journey. #newcastle
