Once bustling with tourists, the area now features abandoned hotels and restaurants, making the Ritz-Carlton Nikko stand out prominently. Along the lakeshore, only a few people can be seen, and the swan boats appear unused. Yet, the mysterious atmosphere, as if you've stepped into a different world, is incredibly soothing. The grilled fish and dango from one of the few open stalls were delicious. If you're tired of the hustle and bustle of the city, this is a place worth visiting again and again.
