The Mosuo people, descendants of ancient Qiang migrants recorded since Qin-Han dynasties, are a Nakhi branch. Without written language but using 32 calendar symbols, they've developed nature-worshipping Daba culture and matrilineal family systems featuring gender equality and unique life philosophies.
