Sanghathan Temple

It is assumed that the original name of Wat Sangkhathan was Wat Sarikho, built in the late Ayutthaya period by skilled craftsmen in the Sri Lankawong style of the Sukhothai period. Judging from the characteristics of the Buddha image of Luang Pho To, which is a Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya attitude in the U Thong art style, the eaves or front tiles of the old ordination hall roof, and the bricks used to build the Buddha image and the base of the ordination hall. Later, the temple lacked patrons until it became a deserted temple in the middle of a fruit orchard. However, the villagers still came to pay homage to Luang Pho To and invited monks from nearby areas to offer alms regularly, so it was called "Wat Sangkhathan".
