📍Obihiro City Children's Hall It was reopened in 2024 with the addition of a new facility, the Children's Future Plaza. This facility is an experiential learning and play space aimed at nurturing children's creativity and curiosity. The building has a variety of activity spaces, including a "science lab" where children can conduct science experiments and crafts, and an "art studio" where they can practice music and theater. There are also interactive exhibits that utilize digital technology, allowing children to deepen their learning while playing. Particularly popular are workshops themed around local nature and culture, and there are many programs that make use of the characteristics of the area. This allows children to learn about the area they live in a fun way.  The facility also has a cafe space where parents can relax and a playroom for infants and toddlers, so the whole family can spend time here in comfort. It is easily accessible, about a 10-minute drive from Obihiro Station, and is an all-weather facility that can be visited safely even on rainy days.
