Exploring the Waterfalls of Rastoke 🧊🧊

#springitinerary We had a lovely visit to Rastoke, a small town in Croatia’s karst region. The town is famous for its beautiful waterfalls formed by the Slunjčica River, a tributary of the Korana. These waterfalls are created by tufa barriers, a natural result of years of limestone sedimentation. As we walked along the streams, we marveled at the way the water flows through the town, past old mills and stone buildings. It’s a peaceful and scenic place, perfect for a relaxing stop while exploring the area.
