First Experience at the Osaka Expo: A Mix of Surprises and Regrets

Finally checked off the 2025 Osaka Expo 🇯🇵! I can only say this trip was truly "Expo-like"—reservations were impossible to secure, the official app was frustratingly complicated, and the queues seemed endless... I was lucky enough to win a spot at the most popular pavilion, expecting to be wowed, but ended up a bit disappointed 😔. After visiting three pavilions, I didn’t find any particularly exciting highlights. However! After giving up on squeezing into the pavilions, I decided to explore the architecture seriously, and that’s where the surprises came 🌇. As the sun set, I climbed the Grand Ring to chase the sunset. The golden glow bathed everything, and in that moment, all the effort felt worth it. During the day, the scorching sun made me question my life choices, but the evening’s beauty completely won me over 🌙. My advice: don’t obsess over the pavilions. Leave some time to enjoy the scenery of the park—you might discover a different kind of romance!
