Osaka… A city that makes our hearts flutter every time we walk by 🍃💕 There is a city that makes us feel like we are walking in an anime. There are the sounds of birds chirping softly, trains running through small rivers, and freshly baked bread shops every morning. A city where every alley has a story, and every word from a stranger makes us smile without realizing it. That city is called… Osaka. This city may not be the capital, it may not be the most prominent in Japan, but Osaka has a “quiet charm” that attracts us to stay longer. We want to sit still, eat delicious food, laugh with friends, and want to… “come back again”. 🧸 ⸻ ✈️ Start the trip with excitement at Kansai Airport. As soon as the plane touches the runway, we feel like breathing again with the cool, fresh air and a faint scent of Japan. The atmosphere at Kansai Airport looks very peaceful and lovely. Everything is orderly. The soft lights from the shops make us feel relaxed even before leaving the building. We chose to travel from the airport to the city by Nankai train. The seats are clean. The view on both sides of the road is small Japanese houses that are lined up like in the movies. Sometimes the train goes under the bridge. Sometimes you can see the sea. And some parts pass the cherry trees that are blooming It's like a preview before entering Osaka for real 🌸🚆 ⸻ 🏡 Namba… A friendly area that is close to everything Our accommodation is in the Namba area, which is a popular area among tourists. Because it is convenient for everything, both transportation, food and shopping. The hotel is decorated in a Japanese minimalist style. There are tatami mats, the smell of wood and windows that open to see tall buildings alternating with small houses. It looks very heartwarming. 🪟✨ Just a few minutes from the hotel, we arrived at Dotonbori Street With the "Running Glico" sign welcoming us in the middle. We stopped by the takoyaki shop with the longest line. And it was a great decision! The takoyaki is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with large pieces of squid and the rich sauce is the best. 🐙🔥 ⸻ 🍜 Dotonbori… A food street for those who love deliciousness This area is a land of food lovers! Whether it's... • Kushikatsu, fried skewers that are delicious with every skewer dipped in sauce • Pork bone soup ramen, rich and fragrant, one bowl will fill you up until the evening • Salmon sushi, so fresh it feels like it's swimming in front of you • Japanese crepe, stuffed with filling, fragrant butter, just the right amount of sweet • And what we love the most is the green tea pudding, served in a cute ceramic cup, topped with fragrant brown sugar, melts in your mouth when you chew it 💚🍮 Every menu we eat in this area is not just "delicious" but "impressive", like we're really eating happiness ⸻ 🏯 Osaka Castle... elegantly beautiful and charmingly peaceful We walked to Osaka Castle, standing tall in the middle of a large garden, like entering the samurai era. The white and gold castle reflects the morning sunlight, so beautiful that we have to stop and look and sigh softly with fascination. 🏰 The area around the castle is full of big trees. In some corners, there are students having a picnic, in some corners, there are grandparents playing chess. We bought ice cream to eat under the trees and took pictures of the beautiful view. Save it all up on my phone 🌿📷 ⸻ ☕ Small cafes that make my heart flutter Osaka is a city of cafes! No matter where you go, there are cute shops everywhere. •We stopped by a shop that served a bear-shaped latte with foam 🐻 •Another shop served matcha cake with hot green tea and a small rabbit sat in the garden behind the shop 🐰 •Some shops played classic Japanese music and had freshly baked bread every morning The smell wafted all the way to the front of the shop 🍞🎶 Every cafe is like a small corner that was created for us to sit and relax and fall in love with Osaka in another dimension ⸻ 🎢 USJ… The land of laughter and dreams If you come to Osaka and don't go to Universal Studios Japan, you're missing out! Here, there are… •The Harry Potter zone that gave us goosebumps when we walked in! The beautiful Hogwarts Castle, with a broomstick shop, Honeydukes shop, and sweet Butterbeer to drink 🧙♀️ •The Minion zone that is full of bright yellow Rides, cafes, and souvenirs •3D, 4D rides and roller coasters that make you scream until your voice is hoarse 🎠 It was a day full of smiles, sweat and fun memories that will never be forgotten. ⸻ 🐠 Kaiyukan Aquarium… An underwater world in a bustling city If you want to change the atmosphere to something calm and cool, I recommend Kaiyukan, a large and amazing aquarium. We met a giant whale shark that swam slowly in a multi-story glass tank. There were penguins, Nemo, squid and jellyfish that glowed softly in the water 🐋🌊 This made us feel like we were floating underwater. It was another side of Osaka that was soft and dreamy. ⸻ 🛍️ Shinsaibashi & Shinsekai area… A paradise for shoppers and photographers We went for a walk at Shinsaibashi, a shopping street full of clothing stores, cafes, stationery shops, and cute gift shops. Shinsekai is an old district that gives off a Showa-era Japanese vibe, like going back in time. 🎎🗼 We got teacups with seal designs, handmade souvenirs, hand-drawn postcards, and wooden dolls that we liked so much that we had to buy them back to Thailand. We also took a picture of the Billiken statue, which they say brings good luck if you rub its feet. 🍀 ⸻ 💖 Osaka… a city we want to pack and take home in our bags. In the end… we feel that Osaka is not just a tourist city. But it is a “feeling” that warms our hearts even on a cold day. Whether it’s the laughter of students in the park, the uncle who helps us find our way in the train station, the smile of the curry shop owner, or even the sound of birds chirping in the morning from the window of our room… Osaka may not call us with tall buildings or bright lights, but it gradually releases the fragrance of “happiness” for us to inhale… little by little, little by little until our hearts are 100% full without us knowing it 💗 ⸻ Osaka A small city that gives us happiness to carry back with us in our pockets A city that is not flashy…but “the cutest in the world” 🌈🍡🧸✨ ⸻ #Osaka #TravelJapan
