voco osaka central, newly opened in 2023, is one of the newest ihg-owned hotels in the Osaka area and the first voco in Japan! voco is derived from the Latin word meaning “invitation” and “to get together”, which fits well with its young and energetic positioning. The first floor of the hotel brings together a front desk, all-day restaurant and cafe & bar, decorated in a modern and fresh style, focusing on bright yellow and orange tones, plus green plant accents, the whole space is very vibrant! There is also a spiral staircase that goes straight up to the second floor. This time I stayed in a double room, although not oversized (30 square meters), but the design was exquisite enough, with the city view outside the window. The room is equipped with a capsule coffee machine, but there is a free water bottle, not enough to go to the hallway to directly drink water - the toilet has a bathtub and smart toilet, the most surprising is that the hotel provides pajamas Breakfast is on the first floor and costs 3,800 yen per person at your own expense.
