Paris, a city that becomes romantic just by walking around

#July Travel Support Fund Paris was a city where everything flowed slowly but never got boring. It was okay to get lost, and the time spent wandering around without a set plan felt more precious. Wherever I went, it was like a scene from a postcard, and every moment was the highlight of the trip. The Eiffel Tower that I encountered early in the morning was calm and elegant, and in the evening, it showed a completely different face under the golden lights. I still vividly remember that scene as I sat in the Champ de Mars park, drinking a warm croissant and coffee. The Louvre Museum was more than just a place to visit, it felt like a huge world. At the Musée d'Orsay, each brushstroke by the Impressionist painters crossed time and emotion and touched my heart. In particular, the view of Paris from the clock window where light came in was more picturesque than a painting. I was a little out of breath as I climbed up Montmartre Hill, but when I arrived in front of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, the view of the whole of Paris was more impressive than any observatory. The music and painters on the streets, and the smell of bread spreading through the alleys… It was the daily life of Paris itself, and the essence of the trip. Paris was not a city where you had to ‘see this too’, but a city where you ‘want to feel this moment longer’.
