Travelogue of Orsay and the Heart of Paris

Across the Seine River, the space that once served as the old Orsay train station has now transformed into one of the most beautiful art museums in the world—the Musée d’Orsay. The moment I stepped inside, the massive arched ceiling, preserving the traces of the train station, and the warm golden clock immediately caught my eye. The space itself felt like a work of art. With every step I took, familiar paintings unfolded before me: • Monet’s Water Lilies, • Renoir’s Dance at Le Moulin de la Galette, • Degas’ Ballerinas, • and Van Gogh’s Self-Portrait and Starry Night. It was astonishing to see these masterpieces, which I had only encountered on screens, right before my eyes. Standing face-to-face with each brushstroke, I could deeply feel the emotions and moments of the artists. After viewing the exhibits, I took a leisurely stroll along the Seine, passing the Tuileries Garden in front of the Louvre and reaching the Place de la Concorde. Under the sunlight, people reading books, a girl sketching by the fountain, and plane trees swaying in the breeze created a picturesque scene. In the evening, I sat on the Pont des Arts, gazing at the sunset over the Seine, silently repeating to myself, "I must remember this moment." Paris, in this way, seeped into my heart without warning.
