#cityplaybook Strangers at 47 in Section 17 carries the quiet confidence of a place that knows what it does well and doesn’t need to shout about it. The industrial-style space—raw textures softened by sunlight and clean lines—feels both familiar and relaxed. Though this place is most famous for its sweet/savory crepe, I came in for coffee. I also ordered their cendol cake, which turned out to be a clever and well-balanced take on a nostalgic flavor: creamy, fragrant, with just the right touch of gula melaka. The pesto pasta was surprisingly vibrant, coated in a fresh, nutty green that felt neither too rich nor too safe. The grilled chicken was especially done right with perfect crisp on the outside.
