Wat Khun Inthapramun An ancient temple built in the Sukhothai period. It is assumed from the remains of bricks along the original boundary that it was one of the largest temples in the past. It is home to a large reclining Buddha statue called Phra Si Mueang Thong, measuring 50 meters (25 wa) long from the tip of the crown to the tip of the feet. It was originally enshrined in the chapel, but was destroyed by fire during the first fall of Ayutthaya. Only the Buddha statue remains, exposed to the sun and rain, in the open for hundreds of years. The Buddha statue is similar in shape and size to the reclining Buddha in Chaksi, Singburi Province. It is assumed to have been built in the same period. The reclining Buddha statue has beautiful features, a smiling face, and is calm and cool, worthy of respect and worship. Inside the temple, there are the remains of the ancient temple of Luang Pho Khao, of which only the base, some walls, and the Buddha statue remain. As for the multipurpose hall, there is a shrine to the statue of Khun Inthapramun and a human skeleton, excavated in the area of ​​the reclining Buddha chapel in 1998. It is lying face down with its hands and feet tied behind its back. Some believe that it is the skeleton of Khun Inthapramun, while others say it is not. It is assumed from the history that he was a tax collector who built the reclining Buddha statue by embezzling government money to build it as a religious site. When the king found out, he asked where the money came from to build it. Khun Inthapramun refused to tell the truth because he was afraid that the merit would go to the king, so he was whipped to death.
