Melbourne AU - Great Ocean Road and fish&chips

If you’re coming to Melbourne, one place you absolutely have to check out is the Great Ocean Road! 🏞️ You can get there either by joining a tour from the city or renting a car — it’s about a 2–3 hour drive from the CBD. 🚗 When you’re putting it into your GPS, just type in “Twelve Apostles” and it’ll take you straight to that iconic spot in the photo! Even though it’s quite a bit out of the city, it’s a super famous and popular destination, so there are small kiosks and public toilets around. 🚻 That said… the bathroom lines can get wild, so I highly recommend going before you get there! I went during the day, but sunset is apparently a pretty magical time too. 🌅 It was a clear day in mid-November and still a bit chilly with strong winds — so definitely bring a jacket, and maybe leave the hat at home unless you want it flying off into the ocean 😂 After soaking in the epic views, we hit up Apollo Bay Fishermen’s Co-Op for fish & chips! 🐟 We shared a portion for two and even that was a lot! The place isn’t super big, but it turns over fast and the staff are quick and friendly. I seriously recommend it.
