Mind blowing scenery of Joshua tree national Park

Joshua Tree is such a cool place. The landscape is stunning: the big rocks, the weird Joshua trees, and that wide-open desert. The hikes were awesome, especially with the sun setting behind the rocks. It felt like I was on another planet. On the day when I went there, there were very few people. Driving was a pleasure, most of the roads are dust roads, but they were well maintained. I had lots of water with me in the car and all the snacks I needed - there aren't many places to buy those. One thing: definitely bring plenty of water and wear sturdy shoes.
