This is a must-see historic site in Rome, Italy, the Altar of the Fatherland and the Piazza del Campidoglio! The white building is the Altar of the Fatherland! When I looked up from below, the white sculptures and buildings against the blue sky looked really magnificent! I think it was even more beautiful when I saw it around sunset..! The Piazza del Campidoglio was built by Michelangelo, and you can get there by going up the hill! The white and apricot-colored building you see when you go up the square is called Palazzo Senatorio, and it is still used as the city council of Rome~! Isn't it amazing that a building built during Michelangelo's time is still actively used today!? Roman architecture that goes well with the cloudless Italian sky..
