My Search for the "Spirited Away" Tub Boats on Sado Island! 🇯🇵🛶

#summervacay I finally found the famous tub boats, just like the ones from Spirited Away, on Sado Island! I have to say, getting around this island is definitely a challenge without a car. Transportation: My options were either to drive myself or rent a car, which costs around 7,000 JPY for the first hour, with a three-hour minimum. The tub boats are located on the Ogi Peninsula, which felt like the furthest point on the island, but it was absolutely worth the journey, especially on a clear, sunny day.
