It is known as the 24th temple of the Bando Thirty-Three Kannon Temples, and is popular for its benefits in safe childbirth, child rearing, fertility, protection from misfortune, and financial luck . It is also famous as a "flower temple," with cherry blossoms, peonies, wisteria, azaleas, and hydrangeas, the representative of the rainy season .
