The Ōmiwa Jinja

#japanitinerary Deemed as Japan's oldest shrine with a number of other shrines along its pilgrimage route. This is the oldest shrine in Japan that conveys the primordial ritual of worshiping Mt. Miwa through the three torii gates at the back of the hall of worship, without building a main shrine since ancient times, in order for the enshrined deity, Omononushi no Okami, to be enshrined in the mountain. The surrounding nature is also beautiful, and it is a place where you can enjoy the scenery of each season. I would definitely like to visit again.
