Review of Ancient City, Samut Prakan!

A one-day trip feels like traveling all over Thailand Lately, I've been wanting to find a relaxing place to visit not too far from Bangkok, and "Ancient City, Samut Prakan" came to mind. This place is a collection of art, culture, and important landmarks from all over Thailand in one location. It's like having the whole of Thailand in one spot. I started my journey in the late morning, driving from Bangkok, and it didn't take long to get there. The atmosphere upon arrival was fantastic—lots of trees and shade. Even though it was hot, it didn't feel uncomfortable at all. 📸 Highlights you shouldn't miss: ✔️ Sanphet Prasat Palace: The grandeur of authentic Ayutthaya art. I stood admiring it for a while because it was so beautiful. ✔️ The Sanctuary of Truth: The intricate wooden craftsmanship is unparalleled. It's located by a large pond with a cool breeze. ✔️ Four Regions Village: A nostalgic walk through traditional Thai houses. Every corner is picture-perfect. ✔️ Golden Mount Temple: The highest point in the Ancient City. You can walk up to enjoy a panoramic view. ✔️ Ancient Floating Market: Packed with traditional food and toys. I tried the ancient-style crispy pancakes and fresh coconut milk dessert—they were delicious. 🚗 Getting there: • If you have your own car, it's an easy drive with plenty of parking. • If you don't have a car, take the BTS to Kheha Station and then a taxi to the site. • Inside, you can choose to walk, ride a bicycle, or rent a golf cart. I opted for a golf cart, driving leisurely and taking photos along the way. 🎫 Ticket prices (at the time of my visit): • Thai citizens: 400 THB • Students: 200 THB • Foreigners: 700 THB 📝 My thoughts after the visit: This place is perfect for those who love peace, photography, or are interested in ancient culture. I think you could visit multiple times without getting bored because every corner is so detailed. There are plenty of photo spots, and you can stroll around at your own pace while learning something new. If you're looking for a place near Bangkok where you can explore, take photos, and relax all in one, I highly recommend "Ancient City, Samut Prakan."
