Critters & Giggles: A Day at Happy Hollow Park and Zoo

#summervacay Spending the day at Happy Hollow Park and Zoo with the kids felt like unlocking the ultimate combo of playground adventure and animal magic. The moment we walked in, it was all squeals and pointing as we raced toward the petting zoo to meet the goats and sheep up close. Tiny hands reached out to give gentle pats, while the goats politely tried to nibble every shoelace in sight. After that, we explored the animal habitats, where lemurs bounced around like furry acrobats and the giant tortoise stole the show by moving exactly one inch every five minutes—true dedication to the slow life. When we weren’t making new animal friends, we were conquering every playground and ride in sight. The kids zoomed down slides, climbed ropes like little explorers, and spun around on the carousel until they were dizzy with laughter. We even squeezed in a puppet show and a few turns on the mini roller coaster, just to keep the giggles going strong. By the end of the day, everyone was happily worn out, pockets full of zoo maps and stickers, and already begging to come back. Happy Hollow, you definitely live up to your name!
