Moorish Castle

#2024TravelWish The Moorish Castle is located in the city of Sintra, very close to another popular attraction, the Pena Palace, about a 10-minute walk away, so the two attractions can be arranged together! The Moorish Castle, although it is called a castle, is not a castle for the king or nobles to live in. It is a battlefield fortress built by the Moors in the Middle Ages. The walls of the Moorish Castle are very well preserved and continuous, a bit like the Great Wall! You can walk to the top of the castle, where you can enjoy a broad and sunny view and even see the Pena Palace in the distance!
