In front of me is a China Eastern Airlines B777 with a cute panda paint job. It's already impressive just by looking at it. ⸻ 💺Cabin and seats The seats are staggered in a 1-2-1 configuration, and are designed to look like fully flat, like a private room. Each seat is equipped with a large monitor, ample storage space, and a side table, providing high privacy and making it suitable for long-distance flights. There is ample partition between adjacent seats, allowing you to relax. ⸻ 👝Amenities Welcome drinks and hand towels are provided. The seats are equipped with thick pillows, blankets, slippers, and headphones. I couldn't find an image of the amenity kit, so I don't know if it was provided or not. ⸻ 🍽️In-flight meal (first meal) Appetizer: Assortment of smoked salmon, potato salad, fruit, cherry tomatoes, etc. Soup: Light Chinese-style soup Bread: Sesame bread and garlic toast with butter Main: Beef steak (mushroom sauce), potato, warm vegetables Dessert: Cheese, grapes, Haagen-Dazs (strawberry) In-flight meal (second meal) Salad: Shrimp and leafy vegetable salad with dressing Bread & fruit: Butter, garlic toast, roll bread, watermelon, melon, etc. Main: Chinese-style braised pork and bok choy, rice (cut out style) The amount was sufficient, and I got the impression that the Western and Chinese dishes were well balanced. In-flight meal (my third meal!?) Snack: Chinese-style chicken noodles, boiled egg, vegetables, soup Even though it was 12 hours, I felt like I was constantly eating (lol) ⸻ 🎥Entertainment & In-flight environment The monitor is large and responsive. Comes with a controller. Map display and movies are available without any problems. However, there are not many movies available. This is the same for economy class. Seat pitch and leg space are also wide, so there is no stress even on long flights.
