Kkaebi Garden

🔮 Among the gardens at the Seoul International Garden Expo, the one that left a particularly strong impression was Kkaebi Garden. This garden featured a sculpture in the shape of a gift box, placed at an angle. At first glance, it seemed somewhat unstable, but within that imperfection, there was a unique charm. The vibrant and colorful design of the gift box immediately caught my eye. The tilted appearance of the sculpture resembled a kind of distorted order, effectively expressing the imperfection and spontaneity inherent in creations by both nature and humans. Although its form was somewhat irregular, it conveyed an artistic message in its own right. As I looked around, I felt that such installations carried a meaning beyond mere decoration. 🌳 Kkaebi Garden seems to derive its name from the optical illusion created by the tilted gift box, making it appear three-dimensional. Walking through the garden felt like stepping into another world. Particularly, sitting near the slightly tilted sculpture gave a peculiar sense of stability amidst its precarious balance. It was a time when I could naturally regain a sense of inner balance, and it felt as though these unique sculptures were weaving new stories within the garden. 🦋
