A palace filled with art, history and romance

#July Travel Support Fund **Plaza de España**, located in Seville’s Maria Luisa Park, is a beautiful semicircular square that looks like a huge palace. Built to commemorate the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition, this square is a famous place where Spanish history, architecture, and art are intricately blended, and is considered a masterpiece by architect Aníbal González. A large fountain is located in the center of the square, and a small canal flows around it, connected by four arched bridges, creating a romantic landscape different from other squares in Europe. You can leisurely tour the square by taking a boat ride on the canal, which is a popular experience for tourists. The ceramic tile benches that symbolize the 48 regions of Spain along the walls are beautifully painted with historical scenes and traditional patterns from each region, making it feel like walking through an art gallery. #Seville #Seville travel
