In addition, perhaps because the transportation is not so convenient, the number of tourists is relatively small, so you can slide freely here and enjoy the fun of snow. 🏂The ski resort is relatively small, and you can reach the top by taking two cable cars. There are only more than 20 ski slopes, but it can be said that it is small but complete. There are ski slopes of different difficulties. Whether you are a beginner or a ski expert, you can find a route that suits you. Since there are fewer tourists in Shizukuishi, there is almost no need to wait in line for the cable car even in the peak ski season. If you are willing to take off the board and climb a small hill, you can also find a completely unseen pine snow trail, and rushing down from the top of the mountain will feel like riding on clouds. 🏂There are three options for dinner at Shizukuishi Prince Hotel. The second floor offers a sumptuous buffet with a wide variety of dishes, including local specialties from Iwate Prefecture and international cuisine. There is also a small and cozy izakaya outside the hotel, which offers a variety of Japanese snacks and fine wines, allowing you to relax and enjoy a relaxing evening after skiing. It should be noted that this izakaya has limited seating and is not open many hours a week, so it is recommended to make a reservation in advance at the hotel counter. In addition, there is a French restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, which requires a dress code! 🏂Although the room at Shizukuishi Prince Hotel itself has a slightly historical feel, it is clean, comfortable and standard. The hot spring facilities in the hotel are highly recommended. The hot spring water is of excellent quality and can effectively relieve fatigue after skiing. What’s special is that there is a carp pond next to the hot spring pool. It is quite therapeutic to enjoy the leisurely swimming carp while taking a bath. The surprise of the last night was the fireworks show at 8pm. The pure white snow reflected the colorful lights and shadows.
