Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport, we were greeted by the staff of Angkor Queen Hotel who had arranged complimentary airport transfers for us—a truly thoughtful start. The hotel is conveniently located on National Road 6, the main thoroughfare in downtown Siem Reap, offering excellent accessibility. Its prime location is just a short drive away from major downtown attractions and shopping areas, making it incredibly convenient for travelers eager to explore Siem Reap! 🌍🚗 The hotel's location is fantastic, with easy access to transportation, making our outings smooth and enjoyable. The decor exudes an elegant Oriental charm, and the facilities are comprehensive: a cozy spa, a stunning pool, and a welcoming bar. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient during check-in, making us feel right at home. Our room was spacious and well-equipped, lifting our spirits instantly. The service was attentive and meticulous, ensuring our stay was comfortable and worry-free. 😊🛎️ The room experience was delightful. We stayed in a family suite, which was impressively spacious. The wooden flooring added a touch of sophistication, though it was a bit slippery—so watch your step! The bathroom was simple but had all the essentials. The room also featured a small balcony, perfect for enjoying the morning views. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, guaranteeing a restful sleep. Overall, staying here for a few nights felt like a true home-away-from-home experience. 🛌🌟 Beyond the hotel's amenities, there are plenty of nearby attractions worth exploring. The nearby Phare—The Cambodian Circus is a must-visit for its unique cultural performances. Siem Reaper Travel and Royal Angkor Tours are excellent travel agencies for arranging immersive cultural experiences. For food enthusiasts, Old Maison Eatery & Lounge and Maom Khmer Cuisine offer delicious local dishes that will surely satisfy your palate! 🍽️🎭 Of course, nothing is perfect, and Angkor Queen Hotel has minor drawbacks. The English TV channels are limited, requiring some manual adjustments. While the pool is wonderful, morning tour buses can be a bit noisy. Light sleepers might also be disturbed by early construction noise.
