At the beach, I could see various birds hunting for fish. It was a serene and picturesque place. 💚 For meals, I tried spicy rockfish stew, raw fish salad, and fresh skate sashimi! Heuksando is known for skate, but the unique thing here is that they serve fresh skate instead of fermented skate. 👀 Fresh skate sashimi had a chewy texture similar to flounder sashimi, with a distinctive firm cartilage-like part in the middle. It felt like regular raw fish and was delicious. 🥰 Heuksando is about a two-hour cruise ride from Mokpo Port, making it convenient to combine a Mokpo-Heuksando trip.
