The Light and Fragrance Embraced by the Island: A 2-Day Trip to Sinan

Sinan is an island destination filled with the tranquility of the Dadohae Sea and a unique charm. On the first day, I headed to **Purple Island (Banwol and Bakji Islands)**. The purple-colored bridges and village scenery were so enchanting that they felt straight out of a fairy tale, impossible to fully capture in photos. While cycling around the island, I was surrounded by the scent of lavender, and the locals were incredibly kind. In the afternoon, I moved to Daegwang Beach on Imja Island, where I enjoyed a leisurely walk along the white sandy beach and the blue sea, finding a sense of healing. On the second day, I strolled along the Infinite Bridge on Jaeun Island, taking in the expansive ocean views, and admired the massive offshore wind turbines from the Sinan Offshore Wind Power Observatory. Finally, I crossed the Angel Bridge, marking the end of my island journey. Each island in Sinan is so captivating that a short trip feels insufficient to take it all in.
