Experiencing Luxury and Attention to Detail at The Ritz-Carlton, Singapore

This time, we chose The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore located at Marina Bay, with the address 7 Raffles Avenue—a prime location. The hotel is near attractions like Marina Bay and Cloud Forest, along with many unique cafes and restaurants. The most convenient transportation option is Promenade MRT Station, just under a ten-minute walk away, making it an excellent choice. The hotel lobby is grand and elegant, adorned with exquisite classical decor. Though the hotel is relatively older, it's well-maintained, preserving The Ritz-Carlton's signature luxurious ambiance. During check-in, despite the busy front desk staff, the service was attentive, and the process was smooth. The room layout is spacious with warm tones, offering an immediate sense of comfort and relaxation. Our room was a premium suite with a sea view, and the scenery outside the window was spectacular. The highlight was the octagonal window next to the bathtub—soaking while admiring Singapore's stunning cityscape at night was pure bliss! The room was fully equipped, featuring a comfortable bed with a soft white down comforter that felt like sinking into a cloud. There was also a variety of pillows to choose from, and even extra pillows were provided in the closet—a delightful touch. Nearby, iconic attractions like Marina Bay and the Singapore Flyer are perfect for exploration. For local cuisine, dining options abound, such as RISE Restaurant and Carousel Buffet. Shopping malls and boutiques are also within easy reach, ideal for a short stay. If you have spare time, we highly recommend trying the nearby cycling activities to immerse yourself in Singapore's lush urban greenery. However, there were a few minor drawbacks. While the luxurious breakfast spread was abundant, the variety didn't quite meet expectations for a five-star hotel. Another issue was the room's soundproofing, which fell short—some noise crept in at night. Room service could also be faster; we had to follow up several times, though everything was eventually resolved satisfactorily.
