Saint-Paul-de-Vence, a town of art where time seems to have stopped

#July Travel Support Fund Saint-Paul-de-Vence was a small but charming hilltop town that you can find just by driving a little from Nice. The moment you entered the village surrounded by walls, you felt as if you had entered the Middle Ages. The stone alleys were winding, and the flowers and small signs blooming in each window added to the warmth of the village. Small galleries and workshops were hidden along every path, so you could naturally become absorbed in art as you walked around as if you were taking a walk. I could feel why Chagall and Picasso worked here. The Fondation Magh Museum was the representative art space of this village. The building and garden were in perfect harmony with nature, and sculptures and works by famous artists were placed outdoors, so you could appreciate them as if you were taking a walk. The hills and the Mediterranean Sea that spread out in the distance from the museum were picturesque in themselves. From the observation deck, you could see Nice and the blue sea at a glance. The moment you looked out at the scenery while feeling the warm breeze was truly peaceful. From the small cafe below the village to the time spent relaxing with Provencal wine and cheese, everything was leisurely. Saint-Paul-de-Vence was not a tourist destination to pass by quickly, but a town to feel while walking slowly.
