Xutangdi Ancient Village | A secluded village hidden in the southern mountains of Zhejiang

"Dimly seen the distant village, with smoke rising from the hamlet," as one of the most intact ancient villages in Taishun, Xutangdi Village (pronounced the same as "Ao") has existed in this mountain basin for nearly 800 years. Although it is called Xutangdi, the villagers do not bear the surname Xu; it was named to commemorate Xu Zhen, who led troops to resist Fang La. The ancient village's houses are distributed along different streets, following the mountain's contour, arranged in a scattered and orderly fashion, with alleys extending in all directions. Although most of the villagers have moved out, the village is still surrounded by streams, crisscrossed by paths, with frogs croaking and insects chirping, presenting a picture of a pastoral retreat. This is also the filming location of 'Happiness Trio.' The entire village is simple and quiet, with a low degree of commercialization, retaining the beauty of an ancient village's original ecology.
