After landing, rent a scooter and head south along the coastal highway to Yeyin Village. From there, it's a 3–5 minute walk to the destination. • Ferry + Scooter: Take a ferry from Fugang, Taitung, which takes about 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, rent a scooter and enjoy the scenic route with clear traffic signs guiding the way. ⸻ 📝 Personal Experience The shoreline at Yeyin is truly unique, with ultra-fine sand, crystal-clear waters, and gentle waves—perfect for wading and water play. As soon as we arrived, we started exploring the rocks and dipping our feet in the water, soaking in the tranquility of the seaside. Along the way, we encountered several sheep and pigs basking in the sun. They were surprisingly friendly, even approaching us for food, which was incredibly adorable and therapeutic. Unlike the rough waves on the western coast, this bay has a "stay forever" vibe, ideal for lounging on the beach, gazing at the blue skies and white clouds, and listening to the soothing sound of the waves. Beyond water activities and sunbathing, the time spent with the animals left the deepest impression, evoking a sense of pure travel joy. Walking along the trails, you'll also spot traditional underground houses, giving the entire Yeyin Village a rich historical and cultural atmosphere.
