"Look at the market.

“Lard Long Lae @ Bang Nu is a warm community market, like walking around a friend’s house. We get to eat new local dishes, shop for cute handmade products, and get beautiful photos from bamboo pavilions and palm tree shadows, enhanced by the atmosphere of local cultural performances. If you are free on a Sunday, please come and take a leisurely stroll.” 😊 Lard Long Lae or “Lard Long Lae @ Bang Nu” is located in a shady palm garden in Tambon Kalai, Amphoe Takua Thung, Phang Nga Province. It is open only on Sundays from 08:00–16:00. It is a community market that was created from the cooperation of local people. It started in 2017 and is still lively even after going through the COVID-19 pandemic. There are many photo spots, including green bamboo pavilions, activity areas in the middle of the market, and colorful local costumes of vendors, adding dimension to your IG photos. It’s so awesome! ⸻ 🥘 Taste, Shop, Snap 🍽 Taste local food & ancient desserts • The most unusual menu is the banana blossom salad, sweet and crunchy with a clear smell of roasted coconut. • There is also mushroom curry, steamed fish curry, khanom ko sui, apong, coconut-coated glutinous rice, which is a complete set of rare items. 🛍 Shop for cool community products. • Local organic vegetables, affordable and hard to find. • Local OTOP products and eco-friendly handmade products. 🌿 Eco-friendly market style. The limitation is that they use banana leaves, bamboo, and biodegradable paper instead of foam and plastic, and there is a complete waste separation center. ⸻ ❤️ What's the charm? • The community is the center: villagers help take care of each other. There is a stage for cultural performances. And warmly welcome tourists • Not crowded atmosphere: The market is well-proportioned, with seating and complete restrooms. • Photography enthusiasts will love it: Bamboo pavilions and shadows of palm trees are the backdrop that make the picture look • 🕗 Recommended time: Go early (8–10 am), not many people, beautiful light, and sometimes there is almsgiving for wandering monks (if you go with a bit of caution ⸻ 📍 Location: Tambon Kalai, Amphoe Takua Thung, Phang Nga Province (2 km from Takua Thung School) 🕘 Open: Every Sunday 08:00–16:00 ⸻ #LardLongLae #PhangNgaCommunityMarket #TasteShopSnap #SaveTheEarth #TravelThaiWay
