Renting a car is better than self-driving as it's an undeveloped path with few organized tours offering this trekking route. There are no supply points, restrooms, or changing facilities along the entire route. The Shiliang Stream Trekking route is more challenging (slipperier and more complex) than Dayewa, both in the water and on the mountain. The canyon scenery is also slightly superior to Dayewa, with better water quality and wider deep pools. So how Dayewa earned its reputation as the "ceiling of stream trekking in East China" is truly baffling? The key here is the genuine lack of crowds—the deep pools feel almost private. The third deep pool, in particular, features a small pool above the twin waterfalls, resembling a private swimming pool where you can splash around freely... Later, the Bat Cave, deep and mysterious, gives a sense of pressing forward under weight, but the faint light at the cave's exit brings an involuntary sigh of relief—such an experience is truly rare.
