Sand paragliding at Tottori Sand Dunes🪂

Tottori Sand Dune Paragliding School 📍2164-806 Fukubecho Yuyama, Tottori, 689-0105 Japan ✔️I applied for my first paragliding in the sand dunes. I thought it would be safer than regular paragliding because it was a sand dune, but I was a little nervous because I was going alone. ✔️There was an 8,000 yen course where you carry your luggage yourself and a 12,000 yen course where you have to carry it. If you are physically fit, your wallet won't suffer. ✔️However, even I was limited by my physical strength and was only able to paraglide twice. If you just go down, you have to put all your equipment in a bag and carry it up yourself, which is quite heavy, and compared to the picture, the actual sand dune is much higher and steeper, so your feet sink in. I was scared to go back up, so I gave up after only going twice! (Of course, I went sandboarding before this.) I recommend the 12,000 yen course for those who are not confident in their physical strength. ✔️Since it was the afternoon, I also got to see the sand dunes where the sun was setting. The instructors were also very kind. But when I saw them freely gliding with unlimited power, I thought I wanted to get a paragliding license.
