Kamegaoka Archaeological Site

#springitinerary Statue of the enigmatic Shakoki Dogu figurine from the ancient Japanese Jomon Era. This is the ruins where the shako-chan clay figurine was discovered. The ruins are a large-scale cemetery, and clay figurines of various sizes have been excavated. Inside the ruins, there are a few wetlands, and in the farmland area, you can take a walk around the excavation site. There is also an information center nearby where volunteers can guide you. Parking lot is in front of the toilet. The public toilets are also clean.
